This little cottage is in a lovely historical area that is set on a dead-end street. History is abundant here. The cottage expresses the calmness and friendliness of the area. The cottage was built in the 50's and is sound and decorated in antiques of a French style. There are two patios to relax on in total privacy. The space The kitchen is fully equipped with every necessity. Coffee pot with coffee and tea. Microwave, toaster, etc. The cottage has been completely renovated and is spotless. Beautiful original hardwood floors throughout except for kitchen, utility, and bath. Rules of the cottage will be on coffee table. Please take time to read. Welcome to use the firepit (depending on the dryness of the area) and hostess will bring wood over for you. If there are questions about using the firepit before requesting a stay, please ask hostess. Guest access The whole house will be quest accessible except for hall closet and garage. These are for the hostess' use only. The area in the backyard past fence is private property and does not belong to the "Little Blue Cottage". Other things to note The "Little Blue Cottage" is not accessible for disabled with wheelchairs or problems with steps. The house was built in the early 50's and was not made for disabled needs. Doors are too narrow and front and back entrances are not wheelchair accessible. Please, under no circumstances, if and when washing bath towels, etc., use any form of bleach. If necessary, use white vinegar. Even though children are allowed, this cottage is NOT child friendly. Also, under no circumstances are the couches to be used as beds for adults or children. Please do NOT move furniture or objects in the house. It scars floors and causes a longer time to prep cottage for next guest. Please do NOT burn candles in the cottage. (This subject has been brought to my attention. Please do not sit on furniture or lay on beds after a spray tan is applied, due to staining of the fabrics.) Please leave cottage the way it was when you arrived. Also to note, this cottage is always cleaned, sanitized, and inventoried after each guest leaves. Thank you for understanding.
