Apartment in the historic Schlosshof - surrounded by nature

The charming 90 m² apartment in the half-timbered house of Schloss Gemünden invites you to a relaxing holiday in the countryside. The special feature: a large and wild garden with a seating area (200 m²). The garden includes beautiful old trees and wild flower beds. It is protected at the rear by a quarry stone wall that stores the sun's heat. Air conditioning in the house is not necessary. The thick stone walls keep it warm naturally. The space The apartment is located in an old but well-maintained half-timbered house in a historic castle courtyard. Sustainability is very important to us: The apartment is ecologically heated with wood chips. Thanks to the thick quarry stone walls of the house, it is pleasantly cool in the summer. The electricity comes from the company's own photovoltaic system. The apartment is pleasantly cool even in hot summers thanks to the old meter-thick stone walls. Guest access The apartment includes a large living room with TV and desk; a large master bedroom with king size bed; another bedroom with a double bed; a kitchen with direct access to the garden and a bathroom with bathtub. The apartment has a wild garden. The garden is fenced, but on one side only with a picket fence. Other things to note What awaits you in our holiday apartment at Schloss Gemünden? Above all, one thing: enjoy peace and nature. The health resort of Gemünden – also known as the "Pearl of the Hunsrück" – is idyllically located at the foot of the Soonwald. From the apartment you can get directly to walking paths in the forest, to a stream and to a pond without driving. Especially for children, it is a paradise with us: no cars and many play opportunities in the yard and in nature. Children: We are happy to provide a travel cot, changing table, high chair and children's stroller (the Moon Flac) for 10 euros per day. Dogs: We are also happy about your dog. We charge 10 euros per day per dog for this. The garden is fenced, but on one side only with a picket fence. Bed linens and towels: In addition, we provide bed linen and towels for an extra charge per stay (5 euros per person). Otherwise, you can bring your own linen. Early check-in and late check-out Early check-in or late check-out is possible for an extra charge of € 50.
