Hay barn with charm in a traditional Dutch landscape

Along meadows with knot willows, you drive into a cozy village. At the church, you turn into a dead-end road. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that is exactly the feeling we would like to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The space Upon entering, you step into a stylish, bright room of about 40m2 with windows all around, the exposed beam construction and a large open kitchen. Both the bathroom and the bedroom can be reached from this room. The bedroom with box springs is inspired by the traditional Dutch bedstee and is closed off from the living room with a sliding door. For any additional guest, the comfortable sofa can be converted into an extra sleeping place. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and, as an extra detail, partly a glass roof. The stylish veranda with wood stove and barbecue offers you a wonderful place to sit sheltered in the garden and enjoy long evenings. With a little sun, it is just wonderful place to stay on the chairs in front of the cottage. Beautifully located in our backyard. Be welcome! Guest access The hay barn itself with the veranda including wood stove and BBQ. In the garden, there is another picnic bench that can be used to eat or read. Especially nice in the evening sun. In addition, the garden is a shared garden with us. You won't have much trouble with us. We will occasionally feed our rabbits or walk to the neighbors/car. Since we have a large outdoor space directly at our house, we are here ourselves in the evenings in good weather.
