Quaint Cottage No.2 in the village of Welney

This delightful cottage is based in the heart of Welney in Norfolk. The cottage offers comfortable accommadation for four guests. Fixtures provide all that you will need for a relaxing holiday. The local village pub serves food and drink and is the perfect place to relax. The River Delph and the Old Bedford River are close by, providing lovely walking and cycling routes. A short car journey to The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and the RSPB Bird Reserve. The city of Ely is a short drive away. The space Outside is a front lawned area for sitting out with a morning coffee and the cottage also has a enclosed courtyard at rear. To the rear is an open field with picnic benches which you can enjoyed a coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening as the sun goes down. The lounge has an open fire which is ideal to relax in the evenings. 2 Laburnum Cottages sleep four guests and with 1 Laburnum Cottages next door together they can sleep 8 guests Each Cottage has two bedrooms ( zip/ link beds, can be super king or twin on request) en suite WC and basin Ground Floor Bathroom with Bath, Shower over, basin and WC Kitchen with Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge (no freezer) washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD and Wifi Off road parking at rear of property Shop 5 miles, Pub 2 mins walk Note: Steps down from parking area to the door Note: There is a stream adjacent to front garden (fenced) 1 WELL BEHAVED DOG is permitted at £10 per night. No Smoking or Vaping property Other things to note * Village pub ( The Lamb and Flag) only a few minutes walk from the cottage. Great everyday food and amazing Sunday lunches, we highly recommend. * Steps and stairs in the cottage. Please be aware for accessibility * A beautiful area for walking in the countryside, very rural and idyllic views. * If you have booked to bring a dog with you, it is not allowed upstairs, on beds or furniture. The Terms and conditions are that you must not leave any dogs unattended in the property for any time. Any damage due to the dog or dog hair found on soft furnishings or unacceptable marks on carpets will be billed to you. (Please be aware that the lane can become muddy in damp/wet weather- I suggest that you bring dog towels to wipe your dog down after walks) Please pick up all ‘dog poo’ if any in the garden area and this can be placed in the Black Bin. Also, while walking your dog please ensure they are under control at all times and that they do not worry any wild stock in the area, pick up all ‘dog poo’ and place in the red dog bins provided locally or bring back and place it in the Black Bin.
