Description
The Piggery is a secluded flint built hideaway, with lots of period charm, set in the grounds of a manor house. Converted to a high standard it has it’s own private garden, access to the owners tennis court & a large barn with table tennis, table football & pool, wider house grounds including an island, surrounded by the river Meon. Numerous walks direct from The Piggery and a number of local vineyards are nearby. 5/10mins walk away are two super pubs and the very well stocked village shop. The space The Piggery is a newly built flint building, with a lot of period charm, it is separate from our main house behind a large barn, with it’s own private garden, terrace and sitting area. The property is very comfortably furnished with open beams, log burning stove, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, large fridge/freezer, nespresso machine, a well stocked kitchen for cooking, along with large luxurious rain shower, and a separate bath to relax in. Outside is a terrace with table chairs, lounge chairs, a chimenea and a BBQ. There is also access to the owners tennis court and barn which has table tennis, pool and a football table. There is plenty to do including numerous walks direct from the house. There are a number of local vineyards to visit with open cellar doors - Hambledon vineyard is 1.45 mins walk away. Plus there is Winchester nearby, Arundel Castle, Jane Austin’s house in Chawton, New Forest. Guest access The Piggery has it’s own private garden and there is access to the owners tennis court, barn with table tennis, football table and pool. Other things to note We love children and have our own, but it is not suitable for walking toddlers unfortunately, although can accommodate a baby in a cot.
