Husmannsplassen Havrebakken on Helgøya

Husmannsplassen Havrebakken is an idyllic little house on Hovelsrud farm on Helgøya with phenomenal views of Mjøsa. There is a nice house with living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. There is a separate garden around the house. Here you can sit on nice evenings and enjoy the view. There is access to the beach at Hovelsrud. There are nice hiking trails in the forest right behind the house. The space The living room is really nice and has a fireplace for cold evenings. In the kitchen there is an old oven and a modern induction plate. There is a well equipped kitchen with dish washer. The new bathroom is brand new and has a nice shower. on the 2nd floor there are two bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed made with double duvet, of 1.40 sm. In the other bedroom there are 4 beds. Guest access The whole house and garden. access to the beach at Mjøsa- Other things to note At Hovelsrud we have a large historic garden which is great to visit A lot to see on Helgøya, especially in the middle of Mjøsa's website. Helgøya climbing park is close by, there are great hiking opportunities in the area. Bring good shoes and explore the nice hiking trails at Helgøya. On the neighboring farm is the cafe Skafferiet which is open every day in July and the weekends in June and August. The homestead in Hedemarken has a long history, and many of the spaces are disappearing. The oatmeal is restored with the help of funds from Helgøya's pot as selected cultural landscapes in agriculture, just so we can take care of and showcase this part of the story as well. The house is a log house from 1864.
