The Coach house is a cosy retreat on our farm. A king-sized bed and beautiful linens add a romantic feel to the bedroom and throughout the property a traditional style has been retained offering comfort and quality. Surrounded by the pretty South Oxfordshire countryside. The Farm has footpath links to walks on the Ridgeway and is situated just outside the historic town of Wantage. White Horse Hill is just a short drive away as are the many attractions of Oxford which is just 12 miles away. The space The Coach House is traditional in style and the rural location makes for relaxing and memorable family holidays; birthday and anniversary celebrations; or short breaks Situated on the edge of the Lockinge Estate, in an area of outstanding natural beauty and host to the famous point to point. Our Farm has footpath links to many walks on the Ridgeway and is situated just outside the historic town of Wantage, birthplace of King Alfred. The famous landmark, White Horse Hill is just a short drive away as are the villages of the Cotswolds. The many attractions of the University of Oxford are only 12 miles away. For shopping enthusiasts Bicester Village is approximately 20 miles away and easily accessible. The nearest supermarkets, Waitrose and Sainsbury, are a 5 minutes drive into Wantage. When not cooking there is a range of culinary options available locally from cosy pub meals, relaxing afternoon teas and a wide range of restaurants in Wantage market square. The nearby villages of Hendred and Letcombe have excellent pubs and scenic walks. The property is a perfect touring base, within easy reach of the A34 main road, which leads to the south coast and links with the M4 and M40 to London and its airports. The Coach House is also a great place to stay if attending a wedding or function at Lains Barn, Ardington House and Barton House, all of which are just a few minutes drive away. If looking for accommodation whilst working in the area we are about 2 miles from Williams F1 in Grove and 5 miles from Harwell.
