Family-friendly 3* apartment

The space We have a total capacity for 6 adults and 1 toddler. The apartment has 2 double rooms, one with a crib, the second with another single bed. An additional room (width of bed 1.40 m) with bathroom is available if required (if use is desired, we ask for prior consultation). Linens and towels are provided. Our apartment is probably the most family-friendly you can find: in the beautiful Steinatal, through which a small stream winds. Directly opposite, in addition to a large parking lot, you will find a children's playground, which makes children's hearts beat faster with its cable car and the other small stream. But now back to the accommodation: the apartment is on the 2nd floor and has 2 separate bedrooms, each with a double bed, private sink and wardrobe. In one of the bedrooms there is also a baby/child bed (70 x 140 cm with bars). The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired with all kinds of kitchen appliances. You are welcome to make yourself comfortable in the large garden. The covered pergola is ideally suited for nice barbecue evenings in summer. For barbecue utensils, just contact us. If needed, we can provide children's sleds in winter. Of course, there are enough storage options. Use the location as a starting point for excursions, bike tours or hikes in the Harz or the Harz foothills. The village of Steina is located in an expiring valley on the southern edge of the Harz Mountains. In the Steinatal valley there is a sports field and a mini-golf course. The northern part of the village is in the middle of the Harz forests, while in the south the forest retreats in favor of agricultural land. In the south of Steina is the Römerstein, the remains of a reef of pure dolomite. Interesting bike tours into the Harz Mountains, but also into the Harz foothills can be undertaken from Steina. The Harz can also be explored on foot, for example via the Karst hiking trail. The Salztalparadies Bad Sachsa adventure pool is 3 km away. The indoor park next to it and the ice skating rink are ideal for small children to romp around in bad weather. In Bad Sachsa there is also a climbing hall (Ravensberg Basecamp, from 4 years) with an affiliated restaurant. With the guest card included in the price, you get reduced admission to the Salztalparadies and local museums. In winter, the Harz attracts not only with a dreamlike snowy landscape, but also with extensive winter sports such as downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. Suitable areas such as Braunlage or Andreasberg are 30-50 minutes away by car, ski rental on site. Here, both beginners and advanced skiers will get their money's worth. In the adjacent town of Bad Sachsa you will find some restaurants (Italian, Greek, burger, steakhouse, etc.) and cafés as well as the usual supermarkets (Rewe, Edeka, Aldi, Penny).
