Aloni Cave House - sunset sea view

A cave house carved in the rock of a small hill in a 4000 sq.m. land which you will enjoy all by yourselves. Grasp the essence of country living, marvel the sea (100m) with stunning sunsets, find your perfect swimming sandy beach in a walking distance The space “Aloni “ is an old farmhouse recently renovated with the utmost respect to the original structure and the environment. The house has a size of 100 sq.m. with three independent entrance doors providing autonomy to each of its three main rooms allocated on a single storey with slight elevations. The MAIN BEDROOM (18 m2) has a queen bed built of stone and an ensuite bathroom. The SALA (21 m2) consists of a big room with a double futon bed and a single, stone-built bed and a smaller area which is arranged as fully functional, equipped KITCHENETTE. There is no private bathroom in Sala, but the outdoors WC is directly accessible and very close. Sala communicates with the master bedroom through a smaller room, the NEST (6 m2), with a single bed. KATOGAS, is an old cave four steps below the Sala. It serves as a sitting area (20 m2) or a bedroom with a bell shaped twin bed, a single, stone-built bed and an ensuite bathroom. A rooftop fixed glass contributes bright sunlight in the room and its second door leads to the sea-garden. IMPORTANT NOTE: The house has 3 main rooms (as above). If you wish to use one of the rooms as a sitting/dining area then max occupancy is 5 or 6 persons. If on the other hand you prefer to enjoy the outdoor sitting and dining areas, you may use the 3rd room as a bedroom as well and thus increase occupancy to 9 persons (please consult the precise GROUND PLAN published with our photos for a better view). The SEA-GARDEN, planted with colorful shrubs and native cedar trees, is furnished with an original sitting area designed in the shape of a traditional threshing floor (Grk. Aloni). It is an ideal place to marvel at beautiful sunsets and the sea (100 m). At a convenient place close to the house we have formed a shaded patio with a big table for 8 persons which serves as a dining area. Close-by, there is a CampinGaz BBQ available to all our guests. Built the traditional way, a few steps off the main entrance, the additional OUTDOORS WC with a shower, is accessible to our guests and it is ideal for a refreshing shower after the beach.
