Altitude Adjustment is a large warm and inviting 2,561 sq ft home located on the quiet southern side of Government Camp, Oregon on Mt. Hood at the the 4000 ft. level. We are a short 3 min. walk to the Ski Bowl East Lodge or to the core area of Government Camp where you will find grocery markets, restaurants, recreational shops, and of course that all important coffee shop. The space Located within a 15-20 min drive is the Historic Timberline Lodge and the Mt. Hood Meadows ski resorts. Our large chalet has 4 spacious bedrooms (1 king in the master bedroom, 1 queen with two sets of bunk beds in the upper bedroom, 1 king in the main floor bedroom, plus the lower floor 4th Bedroom has 1 full bed and 1 set of bunk beds), 3 full baths, a large kitchen area with Jenn-air range and eating bar with four bar stools, a dining room with table and chairs to seat 8, a 2nd living space on the bottom floor, a large hot tub, and a new sauna. We have off street parking with availability for 2-4 cars maximum. We are in a quiet gated community at the 4,000 ft snow zone elevation of Mt Hood and just a 3 min. walk to the Ski Bowl East Lodge,which is the largest night skiing area in North America and offers snow tubing hills, horse sleigh rides, snowmobile rentals for winter and an activity park and mountain biking trails for summer. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing are both available right out of our chalet door into undeveloped land, some of which is on the old Oregon Trail. We are within minutes of many hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing, swimming, rafting, and of course lots of sight seeing. Let our chalet be your home base to all that Mt Hood and Government Camp have to offer no matter what the season. Great times and memories will be made staying at Altitude Adjustment! Note that there is not any extra fee to use washer and dryer (don't know how to have Airbnb amenity list show no fee). We have a few video cameras for monitoring the outside of cabin. No video monitoring inside.
