Château des Chaînées Bed & Breakfast

Welcome to our cottage in Chevregny. Former guardian's house of Chaînées Castle, our cottage is located in the heart of unspoiled nature, surrounded by century-old trees of the park. Enjoying a large private garden of 1500 m², nature is open to you for a bucolic holiday! The cottage is ideal for holidays with family or friends for 8 people (3 double beds and 2 single beds). Hiking enthusiasts, sports, culture, history will be delighted. The space THE LIVING ROOM AND THE KITCHEN If the living room floor has retained its original red and cream cement tiles, the living room has been modernized in light tones enhanced by a wall in the brick tone bringing comfort and warmth to the heart of the surrounding forest. The kitchen has been completely renovated to the taste of the day: it has electric hobs and an oven, a large refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave. You will find dishes, glasses, pans and utensils in the many cupboards at your disposal. Two large countertops will allow you to cook or organize pastry workshops with your children! In direct connection with the kitchen, the dining area consists of a table and 8 chairs and a two-body buffet in which you can store canned goods and breakfast items. On the living room side, a large sofa and two leather armchairs sit next to the large wooden wardrobe. You will enjoy reading for hours, watching TV or playing one of the board games available to you. ROOMS The ground floor bedroom has the same red and cream cement tiles as the living room. It has two windows that bathe it in light; the room is composed of a double bed, two art deco bedside tables, a large mahogany wardrobe inlaid with light wood, and a rattan bench to put your suitcases. The floor consists of two beautiful bedrooms as well as a small bedroom with two single beds that will perfectly suit children or teenagers. The large room of the gable includes a double bed, two bedside tables, a small cabinet thus safe acting as a bench. The yellow room consists of a double bed with two beddings as well as a dresser. The small bedroom has two wooden beds, a central bedside table and a dresser. Provision of linen: We can put at your disposal sheets, duvet covers, towels and tea towels for a contribution of 9€ per person. Our laundry is entrusted to a laundry in Laon which guarantees you cleanliness and professional ironing. All you need to do is let us know when you book. SANITARY FACILITIES Next to the ground floor bedroom, the bathroom is composed of a large shower, a tile sink with closet and mirror, as well as a countertop under which washing machine and dryer are housed. Separate toilets with handwash complete the composition of the ground floor. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub, a washbasin on closet as well as a second toilet. Capacity: Attention, our cottage can not accommodate more than 8 people, including infants, for reasons of water supply and sanitation system. Please take this into account when making your reservation. Reservations for more than 8 people will be canceled. Guest access You have access to the whole cottage : raised ground floor and attic floor. Access from outside a space allows to store barbecue, umbrellas, croquet game, etc. However, the basement is not accessible (technical space for hot water tanks and boiler) Other things to note Prohibitions: The fireplace is strictly decorative. No fire should be lit there. Campfires are not allowed in the garden. The installation of an inflatable pool or other is not permitted.
