Château des Chaînées Bed & Breakfast

Welcome to our gîte located in Chevregny. Former caretaker's house of the Château des Chaînées, our gîte is located in the heart of a preserved nature, surrounded by the park's centuries-old trees. Enjoying a large private garden of 1500 m², nature is available to you for a bucolic vacation! The cottage is ideal for holidays with family or friends for 8 people (3 double beds and 2 single beds). Lovers of hiking, sports, culture, history will be delighted. The space LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN While the floor of the living room has retained its original red and cream cement tiles, the living room has been modernized in light tones enhanced by a brick-toned wall bringing comfort and warmth to the heart of the surrounding forest. The kitchen has been completely redone to the taste of the day: it has electric hobs and an oven, a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave. You will find dishes, glasses, pots and utensils in the many cupboards at your disposal. Two large worktops will allow you to cook or organize pastry workshops with your children! Directly connected to the kitchen, the dining area consists of a table and 8 chairs and a two-body sideboard in which you can store canned goods and breakfast items. On the living room side, a large sofa and two leather armchairs are located near the large wooden cabinet. You will enjoy reading for hours, watching TV or playing one of the board games available to you. THE BEDROOMS The downstairs bedroom has the same red and cream cement tiles as the living room. It has two windows that bathe it in light; the bedroom is composed of a double bed, two art deco bedside tables, a large mahogany cabinet inlaid with light wood, and a rattan bench to put your suitcases. The floor is composed of two beautiful bedrooms as well as a small bedroom with two single beds that will be perfect for children or teenagers. The large gable bedroom has a double bed, two bedside tables, a small wardrobe and a chest that serves as a bench. The yellow bedroom consists of a double bed with two bedside tables and a dresser. The small room has two wooden beds, a central bedside table and a dresser. Linen provided: We can provide you with sheets, duvet covers, towels and tea towels for a contribution of €9 per person. Our linen is entrusted to a dry cleaner in Laon which guarantees you cleanliness and professional ironing. Simply let us know when you book. BATHROOM Next to the ground floor bedroom, the bathroom consists of a large shower, a ceramic sink with cupboard and mirror, as well as a countertop under which the washing machine and dryer are housed. Separate toilets with hand washers complete the composition of the ground floor. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub, a sink on the closet and a second toilet. CAPACITY: Please note that our gîte can accommodate no more than 8 people, including babies, for reasons of water supply and sanitation. Please take this into account when booking. Any reservation for more than 8 people will be cancelled. Guest access You have access to the whole vacation rental: raised ground floor and attic floor. Access from the outside, a space allows you to store barbecue, parasols, croquet game, etc. The basement is not accessible (technical space for hot water tanks and boiler) Other things to note Prohibitions: The fireplace is strictly decorative. No fire is to be made there. Campfires are not allowed in the garden. Installing an inflatable pool or other is not allowed.
