This apartment is located in the historic city center of Kalkar in a quiet side street, right on the green belt, but only 2 min. from the market square (town hall, tourist center, cafes, bakers, restaurants, banks). Right next to the entrance you can enjoy an outdoor seating area overlooking the garden. The apartment (approx. 49 m²) has 1 bedroom with double bed, a kitchen with sofa bed (140cm x 210cm), a bathroom (walk-in shower), washing machine, guest toilet. The space The property is very central, but still quiet in the middle of Kalkar, where you can enjoy the historic city center. Kalkar is also an ideal starting point for cyclists, as there are various bike routes that allow you to explore the beautiful Lower Rhine region, with towns such as Kleve, Goch, Uedem, Xanten, Rees, and Emmerich. Excursions to neighboring Netherlands are another incentive for day trips. Culturally interested people will find exhibitions worth seeing in the vicinity (e.g. Kurhaus Kleve, Schloss Moyland). Guest access The apartment is on the ground floor, barrier-free and has a separate entrance. Parking for the car is usually available on the street. A large public parking lot is only about 100 m away. Bicycles can be stored in the garden house or laundry can be dried. Other things to note A baby bed can be available if necessary. There is enough space in the bedroom. In the garden you can relax from the rigors of the day and end the evening. The seating area is also available for the guests. From 01.01.2025, the city of Kalkar will levy a tourism and cultural promotion tax from all guests, which must be collected by the host and passed on to the city. The tax rate is €1.50 per night per guest, maimal for 21 days.
