Breb's Cosy Barn, old wooden barn and green garden

We are in the center of the historic Maramures, northern Transylvania. An old traditional wooden barn with a beautiful, big garden, in Breb, an eco-destination and one of the most beautiful villages of Romania. A beautiful, alternative, vibrant and full of light space that gives life to old wood and objects with a story. You have all you need for a comfortable stay: hot water, great beds, fully equipped kitchen, heating in the winter , ventilation in the summer. We are pet friendly! The space The guesthouse in which I'm welcoming you, is placed in a beautiful green garden, in one of the most well-known traditional villages of Transylvania ...here you can still admire the archaic way of life, people being close to nature and working the land upon ancient method es...I felt in love with Breb and I decided to live here... I love old traditional wooden houses, I live in one and now you can experience all of this as all. Starting from the way this Barn was originally built, is now divided in 2 independent areas (2 separate entrances ,2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms and 2 large bedrooms) which can be rented separately or the entire house if you are a bigger group, enjoy and have it all for you! I call them apartments....The small one was made where once was the animal stable...now turned into a cosy room with a reading/singing/resting corner, a nice kitchen where you can make your cofee, prepare breakfast..and so on. A small-cute bathroom with shower, up the stairs is a large bedroom with one matrimonial bed, one single children bed and if needed a comfortable chair-bed for the second child. The second apartment is bigger, used to be the place of the horse cart, the barn with hay and a small room where the family once stayed...now it is a spacious kitchen, a bright living room with views of the garden on two sides, the large staircase that goes up in an open space bedroom where a family/group of 4-5 people can sleep confortable without being crammed. There is space for an extra chair-bed or baby-bed. Outside in the garden you have more options where you can eat/sit/relax...have a good time with your friends and family. Children are very welcomed , they have a great playground around and about... well behaved dogs who travel with their family can enjoy their holiday too. Guest access The guests have acces to the apartment they rent. The large , green garden, with trees, a fire pit to enjoy a fire in the evenings, or make a grill. Outdoor tables, chairs and benches, hammocks, a playground for children ( includes a little house with a slide, a trampoline, swings, other) and a gazebo for the rainy days. For an extra cost you have acces to sauna and hot tub. Other things to note In the village there are 3 little, charming restaurants with garden and outdoor terase where they serve delicious homemade local food. On request, I can make arrangements for breakfast, lunch or dinner with families in the village, so you can experience local, traditional food. Food will be delivered to you... Food arrangements have a separate price and will be paid directly to the family that will cook for you. Both apartments can also be rented seperatly. They are also listed individually on airbnb. You can rent the whole barn or just one of the apartments.
