Sleepy Expedition Waiting for the Steamboat

Description

STRICTLY FOR BELIEVERS IN FAIRYTALES, treasure hunters and collectors of exquisite memories. But to put it straight at once; -this is a dead simple shack almost sliding into the breaking waves of the dark deep lake full of annoying trout wakes and paralyzing wet whisper under the floorboards to seduce you straight into nirvana... unless the awkwardly kitschy sunsets starts feeding your insomnia. But don't panic, you will not experience something like this every day. So every minute counts... The space WARNING; the old geist of the Steamboat Captain says: Do not choose this cabin unless you have checked the site of 'vagabonds-sanctuarium', -as they are adventurously integrated entities! KEY WORDS; Inner-sanctum, True-nature, Time-capsule, Trans-european, Steam-punk, Once-in-a-lifetime. BEDDINGS NOTIFICATION; as this is basically a Camping Cabin (though exstraordinaire!) there are NO beddings included, but you are free to bring your own. Naked duvets and pillows available. Beddings for hire at Oldernæs Gård Reception, 250 meters away. OFF GRID, off line, off everything... Make no mistake and read to the end: THIS SLEEPY Steamboat Expedition and the flamboyant Steamboat Captain from the realms of infinity, invites you to wait a bit for the steamboat as well, in a spacious living room, beyond all kind of contemporary fashions, -just rough'n cosy, assumably, with some sort of steampunk atmosphere including Wood Stove & Firewood for heating, lazy Sofa and Fur Covered Chairs, warm Blankets and a reasonably equipped Kitchenette including; Gas Cooker and Drinking Water in Cans. ESSENTIAL NOTICE; cabin is OFF GRID with NO ELECTRICITY and NO WIFI and NO RUNNING WATER, but Charging Electricity, Wifi and Running Water at SERVICE HOUSE (250 meters walk). Compost toilet with paper just outside (water closet at service house 250 meters) Some battery lamps installed, but own headlamps recommended from august. AND SINCERELY INCLUDED in price are: FREE shower (in service house 250 meters walk). FREE angling license (10 kilometer shoreline, but please bring your own rod, as ours always get wrecked). FREE rowing boats. That and a few cost FREE excesses like; Troll & Treasure hunt with Treasure Map, Bearhunters Wacky Museum, Bonfire Spots with Firewood, Internet Wagon with Wifi ...and license to feel FREE. EXPEDITION STYLE living room holds one dividable sleeping sofa 150cm, and the interconnected room holds a family bunk bed 120cm + 75cm. BEDDINGS GO EXTRA; Nok 75,- PRO SET. But you are free to bring your own beddings. Naked pillows and duvet available. Towels Nok 25,- pro set. The old geist of the Steamboat Captain do appreciate some basic cleaning before you leave. Dishwash done and trash removed. Floor brush and bucket available. Otherwise leave cleaning to us Nok 400,-. Then you are free to leave his Sanctuary with breezy consciousness ...and with no poltergeist in the motor. Guest access KEY in door by arrival and leave key in door by departure. Parking just outside. ...If you're still there ?!? -Here, finally some facts about the surrounding; 'Vagabonds Sanctuarium of Greater Oldernæs' -a slightly pompous name on a relatively stunning piece of soft wilderness, once acquired by the German magnat, author and bearhunter Otto Schulz (1857-1935). Now kindly civilized, stylistically in his spirit with cabins, camp sites and trekking trails all over to a variety of abstract and concrete treasures, beaches, angling spots and weird attractions to laugh or cry about. Other things to note ...AND FINALLY THE DOWNSIDES; the cabin consists of two interconnected rooms without separation other than curtains, which may restrict privacy. Because of relatively deep water and slippy stones outside, cabin might not be suitable for smaller kids. The last 20 meters or so to the cabin are bumpy with spruce roots. Drive carefully. And remember this is Trøndelag with Trønder climate. Weather conditions turns from heaven to hell in minutes, and back again. But contemplating in front of the fireplace to the monotony of raindrops and the variety of waves merging into the Nature Symphony no. 1 by Otto Von Seamonster, is also something worth the price, I guess...
