Cottage in Rocky Point

Casa Fabiola is nestled right on the Long Island Sound. Just 1.5 hours from NY, the cottage is a perfect getaway to recharge and rejuvenate. It is our weekend home, comfortable and stylish. We want it to be your home away from home so we have everything you need from kitchen condiments to shampoos in the bathroom. We have 2 BR with Queen size beds and 1.5 bathrooms. The second bathroom is in our utility closet so please excuse the stored supplies. Minimum age of booking guest: 21 yrs old. The space Our cottage has an enclosed front and backyard. Perfect for dog lovers! Rocky point is a very mellow bedroom community with friendly neighbors. We all wave and greet each other as we walk our dogs or pass each others houses. It is a relaxing place where you can wind down with something to drink on our porch. Or gaze at the stars while you grill dinner on our deck Or walk 4 blocks to the beach and watch the sunset. This is our weekend home. It is not an investment property devoid of the personal touch. The rooms are not empty. We have our personal things here but out of your way. We have condiments in the kitchen and products in the bathroom for your use if you wish. It is equipped with essentials. My husband loves to cook. If you intend to have a well-cooked home meal, you will find the kitchen complete with cookware, plates, wine glasses, and the like. There is a coffeemaker, a bullet blender, rice cooker, microwave, gas stove and oven, dishwasher and a small toaster oven. We have coffee and sugar for your mornings, a complete selection of spices, cooking oil and vinegars. Please wear house slippers to keep the space clean. For you, coffee lovers-enjoy your morning cup of Joe, at the porch while enjoying some Vitamin D. Relax on the couch and watch your fav show/movie or turn the dining table as a workspace. Make yourself comfortable. Guest access Guests can access everything on the first floor inside the house. There’s a porch in the front of the house and a wooden deck in the backyard with patio furniture and a hammock. The second floor is locked and is our private space for our belongings. Other things to note We have great wifi service and a space dedicated for working at home with a backyard view in a sunny room. Dogs are allowed but no cats please. We are allergic. Please inform us if you will have a dog in the house after you book. There is a charge of $50 for the stay.
