From the parking lot at Låka beach, you go down a small hill and find yourself in the cozy garden with flowers and cherry trees. Thanks to hedges, fences and the hill, the garden is protected from view. You can park two cars on the property. Here you will find a kubb and baseball set for game enthusiasts and on the beach there are volleyball nets and large open spaces to use. We can also provide two SUP boards and a boat for an additional cost (ask the host if you are interested). The cottage is very airy and bright, with windows in three directions. The open floor plan allows the air from the AC/air heat pump to spread easily and gives the entire cabin the desired temperature (so valuable during hot days!). When you rent our cottage, you have the whole place to yourself; the garden, the house and the guest house. The cottage consists of a small hall, a bathroom, a kitchen with a kitchen island and a dining area with stunning views of the sea and Tjörnbron. There is also a living room with a sofa bed and a double bed, which is easily separated by blackout curtains. In the guest house there is a double bed and fantastic morning views over the sea. Clean bed linens, towels and bath towels are included in the stay. In the living room, there is a stove and some wood. There is a smart TV with a built-in DVD player and many DVDs are available. There are no regular channels on the TV, but you can sign in to most streaming services like Netflix and more. There are also books, board games and children's toys. The kitchen is fully equipped with glasses, plates and all kinds of utensils. If during your stay you find that something is missing, please let us know so we have the opportunity to add it in the future. There is a stove, oven, half fridge, half freezer, countertop dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. There are plastic bags, basic spices, coffee filters and some tea/coffee. The bathroom has a shower, as well as soap, shampoo and conditioner, as well as a washing machine and detergent. On an outer wall, you can hang some clothes to dry on a pull-out clothes hanger. Outside the cottage we have the veranda, with a large table and chairs for 6 people, 4 sun loungers and the sea just outside. There you can sit for a long time and enjoy the sea breeze and watch the boats pass by. During "Tjörn runt" you have front-row seats! The nearest store, ICA, is only 2 km away. There's also a pizzeria in the same building. If you feel like exploring the nearby areas, there are lots of things to do and many beautiful places to visit, such as: - Sundsby (hiking trails, caves, playground, barbecue areas, café and a museum) - Tjörnbro arena (trampoline park, adventure golf, kayak rental, rock climbing, mountain bike trails, outdoor pool, sauna, fitness center, ninja park, event hall, outdoor arena, restaurants and quiz walk) - Nordic Watercolor Museum in Skärhamn - The sculptures in Pilane - Molekylverkstaden Science center, library and art exhibition at Fregatten in Stenungsund - Bowling, exercise or swim at Stenungsund Arena Cleaning: Guests clean the house after their visit by following the cleaning instructions left in the cottage. Cleaning equipment is on site. Guest access Cabin and guest house on own property. Other things to note During the peak season, we rent the cottage per week, Saturday to Saturday. Other periods of the year, you can rent day to day. Check-in: Saturdays at 2:00 pm or later. Check-out: Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. or earlier. You let yourself in with the help of a key cabinet. We'll send out the code and info a day or two before arrival. There are instructions and other information in the house. We provide bed linens and towels and a few other things that are in the ad. You clean the house yourself before departure. There are cleaning instructions and cleaning materials in the house. Please leave the house in good condition, as you would like to find it yourself.
