The space The Amazing stone villa is located in Vasiliki village (45 min. from Heraklion airport) at the area of Messara who is the most favorable valley in Crete island , into the nature surrounded of thousands of olive trees . The villa is comlete renovated with vintage and traditional decoration in all rooms and has complete equipment what you might need for a comfortable stay ,and offers free Wifi ,free parking , garden and Bbq area. This stone-built house is located almost at the entrance of the village Vasiliki , it was an old townhouse and due to its geographical location during World War II it had been used by the German troops as the headquarters of the German army. The house has been recently renovated and consists of 2 (two) independent and fully autonomous houses (a main maisonette and a smaller two-bedroom) and we tried to give it the same character and the same design as it had been built about 100 years ago. The area is full of the rich olive groves of the curator and blessed plain of Messara, while from the house starts an amazing wild beauty route between the imposing Aspousia mountains ending at the beach of Tripiti. The drive is about 30 minutes through a dirt but passable road , and is unique with wild flora and fauna , with beautiful churches (Agia Paraskevi, Agios Savvas and Panagia Tripiti that has been built in a cave ) , as well as the imposing gorge of Tripiti that leads to a wonderful beach with very nice pebbles and blue waters There you can eat traditional Cretan food and enjoy a swim in the blue waters..Happy holidays.
