In the heart of a picturesque Test Valley village and backing onto farmland our stylish and individual 17th century home provides a charming and comfortable stay. Whether you seek beautiful country walks, fishing on the Test, a great pub on the doorstep or simply relaxation in beautiful surroundings, it is all here. Set in the quintessentially English village of Monxton, Brewery House has great entertaining space inside and out and all the amenities you would expect from a quality home. The space A perfect escape for one large or two smaller families to be together or groups for sightseeing, fishing or just wanting to enjoy the countryside, the house has lots of areas for relaxing, socialising and working from home. Downstairs: Our large, open-plan kitchen/dining/living room is bright and spacious and a great entertaining space. It can seat up to 12 for dining and opens out onto a cosy outside area with table and benches seating up to 6 - a perfect suntrap for the morning coffee. There is a cosy snug with a working woodburner, a comfortable TV room with a desk and space to work, the green room (study) which has a comfortable sofabed (can be used to accommodate 2 extra guests on request) and a desk, a downstairs loo and a utility/laundry room. Upstairs: 4 comfortable bedrooms (3 doubles, 2 with ensuite) and a family bathroom. Bedroom 4 has a ship's bunk and bunk beds (sleeps 3). Outside: Our well-stocked garden covers 1/3 of an acre, on multiple levels with wonderful views of neighbouring farmland and the village treetops. The terrace, which sits above the house and next to the granary, has a large Big Green Egg barbeque plus comfortable garden furniture. Access is via the gravel drive which provides off-road parking for up to four cars. Guest access The whole house and garden are yours to relax in and enjoy.
