Cottage in the heart of the headlands of the Côte d'Opale and the marshes: Includes entrance hall, kitchenette, bathroom separated by a curtain (comparable to a cabin), main room (with double sofa bed), 1 bedroom (with double bed + single fold-out chair), toilet. Fenced-in grounds (2 vehicles). Approximately 20 min from Saint-Omer and its marshes, 30 min from Montreuil-sur-Mer and its citadel, 35 min from Calais/the Channel Tunnel, 25 min from Boulogne-sur-Mer and Nausicaá, and 35 min from numerous trails and dunes… The space Our home is located in the countryside, in a green setting, away from traffic jams and city noise… It was built by us in 2015, with simplicity in mind. It is functional and clean, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet! Guest access You have access to all parts of the accommodation and its exterior: you have a private entrance and driveway of about 150 m2, and the property is fully fenced and gravelled. You can park two vehicles. Other things to note Wi-Fi/TV/Pool table: There is no Wi-Fi in the home, but the network is fine if you hotspot from your personal plan/phone. No specific TV channel. Features a pool table (2 cues and balls available on request) and a dartboard. Sleeping arrangements: The bedroom (about 14 m²) has a double bed with 2 pillows and 2 pillowcases, 1 fitted sheet, 1 duvet and 1 bedspread. You will also find a single fold-out chair bed there if needed. In the main room (about 27 m²), you will find a sofa bed for 2 people (190 x 140 cm) for a 3rd and/or 4th person, if that can help you out: as the accommodation has a single bedroom and a small bathroom of 2 m², it is more suitable for 2 or 3 people, but please note that there are 5 sleeping places in total. (Reminder: Please remember that linens are not provided: for the 2-seater sofa bed and the single armchair bed, if you plan to use them). Reminder: We do not provide towels, do not forget them... Bathroom: Please note that the bathroom (2 m²) includes a shower and a hand basin (not a sink). It is separated by a half-door and a curtain overlooking the main room, comparable to a simple shower stall. It is ideal for taking a shower 🚿, washing your hands 🙌, and brushing your teeth 🪥. You will not be able to store linens or other items inside (see photo 😊). Restaurants: You can consult the binder available on the table in the main room (some addresses are available); it is up to you to contact the establishments to find out their opening and closing times. The kitchenette (a small kitchen area of 2.3 m²) is not designed for cooking large quantities (it is best to opt for quick meals/small quantities/reheated dishes, or why not go out to eat? 😊). It also has 2 electric hot plates, a microwave and a mini oven. We can provide a barbecue 🍗 on sunny days, upon request. Pets: We no longer allow pets. Cleaning: This is done by us, but a vacuum cleaner is available in the hall if needed. The broom and other items are stored under the sink in the kitchenette area. An inventory will be carried out at the end of your stay. We simply ask that you leave the accommodation in good condition and tidy. Thank you in advance. Heating: The property has two electric radiators. There is no radiator in the bathroom, no electrical outlet in this room (for safety reasons), and no heated towel rail. The radiators are controlled remotely. Please do not change the setting and do not touch the buttons. If needed, send us a message and we will instantly lower or raise the temperature to your liking. Miscellaneous supplies and equipment: A minimum of Senseo coffee pods, sugar, salt, pepper, kitchen towels in the cupboard, cutlery, plates, cups and glasses for 4 people, 2 saucepans, 2 frying pans, 1 stockpot, 1 salad spinner. In the kitchenette, you have 2 electric hot plates (Reminder: No possibility of cooking large quantities = 2.3 m² room), a mini oven, a microwave, a Senseo coffee maker and a toaster (see photos/equipment description). You will find 1 bottle of shower gel, 2 rolls of toilet paper, household cleaning products and equipment, garbage bags, several capsules or gel for the dishwasher, a vacuum cleaner, etc. There is no washing machine (a few launderette addresses are also available in the binder on the main table for your convenience). What does not appear in the description above is to be considered "not provided". Please read the listing details carefully before booking to avoid misunderstandings. Trash: You can drop your garbage bags on our sidewalk, just behind the wooden gate, from Monday evening if your stay has Monday. Otherwise, put them in the garbage cans next to the terrace. (Glass can be placed next to these in the gray box). P.S.: If you want to check in independently without stress or time constraints, that's perfectly possible: we'll use the lockbox!
