Parc & Jarry metro stns 5 min The space The space is a very large room (12' x 15.5' / 3.66m x 4.72m) with double bed & 2 shared bathrooms, 2 shared fridges. It is on separate level of house. It is in the semi-basement. In the bedroom there is no closet, so there is a large rolling rack, as well as a large desk, chair, and TV with chromecast, Netflix, & Prime TV, Spotify premium, and of course Wifi. There are three people living on the main floor of the house. All linens, bedding, towels included. We do pass-through the semi basement section via the stairs (not the bedroom!), to do things like laundry or work in the garage. The semi basement consists of the bedroom and another room which is unused most of the time. The bedroom is separated from the other room by curtains. If you make a reservation, I can send you a video. Until then the platform will not allow me to do this. There is a 24-hour free cancellation period after making a reservation. Shared areas include the front door entry on the main level, the kitchen, dining room, laundry room (on semi basement level), and all outdoor areas - pool, picnic table, BBQs, yard, and garden. Take advantage of everything growing in the garden... Raspberries, blueberries, crabapples, herbs, many many cherry tomatoes in July, and more. There's also space in the backyard to keep a bicycle if you like. Smoking is allowed but outside only, on the back balcony or in the yard. Marijuana smoking is not permitted on the back balcony. It is permitted in the backyard only, as long as the smell does not come towards the house. And it really depends on other guests as to whether or not it will bother them. But the yard is quite large. The kitchen, dining room, yard, garden, bbq, pool, and front entrance, and laundry room access via the stairs to the semi basement to the laundry room are all shared. Smoking outside only. No shoes in the house. quiet time at 11:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. no overnight guests allowed without permission personal space must be cleaned by guest. this must be done in an appropriate timely manner. bedding and linens must be washed at least once every two weeks. if common areas are used, you must clean up your own mess if you make one, like the kitchen for example, putting away dishes etc wiping counters after use Guest access Shared family kitchen with gas stove, toaster oven, microwave, shared dining room, huge yard with swimming pool and garden, charcoal & gas Bbq's. Laundry room in semi-basement is also shared. During your stay Whenever I am here, which is most of the time, I will help in any way I can. Love to socialize and get to know my guests. My kids will be around also, in between their activities, and they are aged 18 & 22. We are here to answer any of your questions, or to give suggestions. Most of the time you will find me in the kitchen or the garden with the back door open so you just have to call my name! Other things to note Parking is free on the street and usually very available. Buses on Street at end of block (1 minute walk). 80 or 435, are Park avenue buses going downtown (20 minutes in good weather and no traffic) and also to Park metro (5 minutes).They come frequently especially during rush hour. 193 Jarry, at the same stop goes East to Jarry metro, but is far less frequent only every 30 minutes approximately. Check the STM schedule online. There is a uniprix pharmacy right across from the bus stop at Jarry and Bloomfield. They sell bus cards there and recharge them. Past uniprix on Jarry, before the gas station there is a corner store called Marche Blair that is open 24 hours. Lots of local Indian grocery stores but they are small. They offer fresh produce and meat etc. There is a larger grocery store Provigo, located at the Park metro station. The public market is close to jean-talon metro. You can also walk there through Jarry Park. It is around 15 to 20 minutes to walk.
