Petite Retreat; Artist Studio

Our detached Spanish-style artist’s studio is within a 3 to 15 minute walk of all the best restaurants and shops in the lower Village of Montecito. It is an easy four block walk from the patio to beautiful Butterfly Beach. It is cozy, private and has a fabulous, hot, outside shower ! (Note; this shower is the only shower for the studio). Gaze at the stars while rinsing off the sand ! The studio space is small, and cozy, warm radiant concrete floors can be turned on in the chillier months. The space Our studio is in the ultimate location, park your car and spend the weekend walking...the beach, bars, restaurants, grocery and many unique and deluxe shopping venues are all within an easy walk. The space itself is relaxing and casual, no fuss, all easy and very comfortable. It is quiet, unpretentious and relaxing. Guest access We have a stack of clean beach towels waiting, boogie boards, a long soft board and a kayak available. There are two dining areas on the upper garden terrace and an outdoor fireplace on the lower patio. Other things to note Note to all, the wonderful outdoor shower is the only shower for the studio ! The studio has a toilet and two sinks inside. Guests are welcome to bring a furry friend with them that is well behaved and not a barker ! Dogs love this neighborhood ! Parks, great local walks and the Beach !!! There is an added fee for dogs of $50. per visit, per pet. This fee covers extra cleaning and laundry. We do have pets on the premises, but our pets are not invited in to the studio ! However if you leave the French doors open you may get a visitor. Hopefully you enjoy both cats and dogs ! They are all friendly.
