Located only 45 min from Las Vegas on a working dude ranch. Enjoy activities offered such as horse rides, cattle drives, rodeo's and cowboy games or just enjoy some quiet time visiting all the animals. A portions of our proceeds go to The Native Wellness Institute to promote the well-being of Native people through programs and trainings. Enjoy an outdoor shower with hot water and spectacular views. There is a camping stove, pots, pans and dishes for some light cooking. Coffee and Tea is provided. Only a short walk to an out house with a flushing toilet. For your comfort, in the summer we provide a swamp cooler in the tipi and a misting fan on the deck and in the winter we have a heater and the mattress heats up. We do allow pets but charge a $10 pet fee. per night. We ask that you do not leave your pet un attended if you travel off property and you are fully responsible for your pets. We do have other dogs on the ranch and many ranch animals. We proudly donate a portion of our pet fees to the SPCA. There is a white gate as your entry to the tipi. Please open the gate and let yourself in. You can park anywhere near the tipi. Please close the gate behind you. The tipi has its own entrance. You will have plenty of privacy. If you do wish to walk around the ranch you are more then welcome. We just ask you to sign a waiver prior. The waivers will be in the Tipi. We are at the ranch often so we hope to have the opportunity to meet you. However, we are only a phone call away and there is always someone at the ranch if you need. Enjoy the 160 acre ranch with horses, goats, cattle, pig newton, dogs and chickens. An hour and a half away are the Tecopa Hot Springs and the gateway to Death Valley. The oldest Saloon in Nevada in 20 min away. Pioneer Saloon in the ghost town of Good Springs. Las Vegas is 45 min away. There is a small market in Sandy Valley but we recommend that you bring food with you and fill up your gas tank as the closest gas station is 30 min away. Please do not use your GPS.
