Shepherds Spring Cottage 1 is located in the delightful grounds of the 18th Century East Mills Manor, situated between the historic medieval town of Fordingbridge and the village of Godshill, 5 minutes drive from the New Forest National Park. The cottages have been tastefully converted to provide comfortable, stylish, high standard accommodation with self-catering facilities offering a beautiful retreat in a peaceful location. The space The Cottage spaciously sleeps 6 people across 1 double bedroom and 2 Twin rooms across 2 floors and has an Upstairs Shower/ WC Room and Downstairs Bath/ WC room. The Kitchen area has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and fridge-freezer and utensils. The large kitchen flows directly into the comfortable dining/living room which has everything you need to make yourself at home; a dining table for 6 people, a lounge area with a large sofa, an armchair, flat-screen TV, and DVD player. Downstairs includes a bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, WC and shaver point and Bedroom 1 which as a large double bed. On the first floor is Bedroom 2 with twin single beds into eaves and Bedroom 3 with twin single beds into eaves, as well as a shower room with shower cubicle, basin & WC. On the landing is a storage cupboard with hanging rails, hoover, iron, ironing board, and airer. It is located inside a landscaped gated courtyard, which leads on to a shared property's secluded garden containing BBQs and Picnic tables, so you can enjoy outdoor dining whilst looking onto a beautiful meadow and the River Avon. It is the ideal location for nature lovers, runners, cyclists, horse riders, and fisherman, with access to 2.5km of the private fishing swims on River Avon, stable and grass livery for horses and secure storage for bicycles and fishing gear are available upon request, fees apply. Guest access Cottage 1 is located inside a landscaped gated courtyard, which leads on to a shared properties secluded garden containing BBQs and Picnic tables, so you can enjoy outdoor dining whilst looking on to a beautiful meadow and the River Avon. It is the ideal location for nature lovers, runners, cyclists, horse riders and fisherman, with access to 2.5km of the private fishing swims on River Avon, stable and grass livery for horses and secure storage for bicycles and fishing gear are available upon request, fees apply. (Due to COVID-19 safety measures, please not the shared garden is closed, but Cottage 1 has access to a private court yard at the front of the property which contains a picnic table and a BBQ. ) Other things to note Your stay includes Bed linen, electricity, gas central heating, and WiFi. If you need a travel cot (please bring your own bedding/linen) high chair and stairgate please let us know when booking. Towels are included. Please bring your own beach towels. This a non-smoking property. We are a dog-friendly property, we welcome up to 2 dogs, for a dog fee of £30.00 per dog. Please note, to charge electric vehicles, permission needs to be sought from the owners, and fees will apply.
