Cottage with indoor swim spa in the New Forest

A warm, homely cottage for a break or a holiday. The walks of the new Forest are on the doorstep with miles of heath land to explore by foot or bike. The AGA , oven/hob are perfect for home cooked meals or wander across to the Foresters for a delicious meal/lunch. The cottage is great for couples, families or friends to enjoy. The space Detached New Forest cottage in village of Frogham with a heated indoor swimspa in the garden, it has 3 controllable swim jets to swim against at one end and a benched hydrotherapy area at the other. This is our home which we used to only rent out during the school holidays, it is certainly not your bland holiday let. It has a homely, characterful feeling and is furnished accordingly. We renovated, extended and have done everything that you can say - including the garage and swimspa - we did have a crane for the pool!! It is a home to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, step into the slow lane, with modern day facilities. Traffic is mainly locals interspersed with donkeys, ponies, horse riders, dog walkers, walkers, cyclists and the occasional classic car rally. Once featured in the Guardian -great-uk-cottages-with-swimming-pools-family-holiday in January 2019 It has a south facing cottage garden with a private gravel drive for several cars. Within the garden there is also a fenced off pond. Due to the location within the New Forest National Park, ponies, cows and donkeys roam the surrounding roads and area - and seem to favour our driveway entrance as a sunning spot. This is a home from home, we have a smartTV, plentiful books, dvds, games, and basically a fully functional 'everything' - because we live here when not on holiday in one of our other homes. The cottage has a traditional kitchen with an heartwarming AGA for the cool winter months. It also has a renovated 'Fordingbridge' cast iron range, more of a historical feature - but nevertheless makes a great addition to the cottage. The living room has an inglenook with functional wood burning stove. The oak staircase leads up to a landing with bookshelves and storage. One bedroom can either have 2 x 2'6" beds or a 5' double (John Lewis). The bathroom has a bath with shower over, wc and basin. There is another single bedroom with handmade oak bed with new John Lewis mattress. The double bedroom has a pocket sprung divan bed and a small en suite with wc, basin and shower. The garden is a typical cottage garden, with several seating areas throughout the garden and sun loungers in the tried and tested sun traps. There is the Foresters pub on the crossroads, which as of march 25 is under new management according to recent guests at the cottage who enjoyed it so much that they ate there twice in the week. Guest access Everything in the cottage, the swim spa and the garden. We have fibre Broadband... surprisingly but only because the village paid for it. So we have a smart TV so we have Apps including Netflix, amazon prime and catch up TV. The cottage is a fully functional home with oil central heating, a woodburner, electric water heating, electric showers, dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob and AGA in the colder months. We also have a travel cot, highchair, stair gate, potty and step if needed. Other things to note It is a cottage so expect low ceilings, small cottage rooms, inglenook, wood burner, wifi, antiques, aga (winter only) but it has the luxuries of modern life-dishwasher, oil central heating, double glazing. It is a home so we have all our pictures, books, dvds ,smart tv, even a phone to use to call family in the UK or mobiles in the UK.
