Our valley hut sits all alone on a stunningly beautiful valley hillside with old meadow grass and wild flowers. Sit on the swing bench hung from the old oak and take in the view and sunset. The huts sleep 6 people in total. You are completely secluded from anyone else half a mile from the nearest dwelling The space For cooking there is the gas hob, an oven with grill and a fridge. The hut runs from 12v solar power. Our valley shepherds huts are set in a stunning location on our farm to give you a memorable experience glamping in Kent. Set on a valley hillside nestled amongst trees with beautiful views. The main hut has hot running water and an ensuite with shower and composting toilet (with the addition of an outside composting toilet as well), Kitchen with gas hob and oven, fridge and led lights, usb charging points run on solar. There is a comfy king size bed and woodburner. There are 12v sockets for chargers. You can relax on the wooden gazebo area or tree bench swing and take in the views and listen to the skylarks and buzzards above. Doggies are very welcome and will enjoy the fabulous walkies here The second hut which is our original Valley Shepherds hut has been refurbished into a lounge and extra sleeper hut. One end of the sofa area pulls out and turns into a king size bed then there are two other single bench sofas. Two people are included in the price and thereafter you have to add extra adults and children and also any linen you need for the second Hut. You are of course very welcome to BYO linen for the second hut. Our Valley Huts are aimed at people who want a wild tranquil escape. They are 1/2km away from the nearest road and dwelling. Set in calcareous grassland which hosts wild flowers such as orchids, bluebells and cowslips. Also during May the wild broom flowers a beautiful yellow. The valley is gradually rewilding itself. If it’s a hot day and shade is your thing you can relax on the wooden gazebo nestled amongst the young birch trees or chill on tree bench swing under the old oak trees and take in the views with the sound of skylarks and buzzards above.
