The screened porch has two ceiling fans and is furnished with an outdoor dining table and a large lounge area with plenty of comfortable seating for summertime naps, reading and entertaining. The well-equipped chef’s kitchen includes a double oven, five burner gas cooktop and island seating for four, and the adjacent dining area easily accommodates up to eight people. Mudroom, laundry and powder room are all on the first floor. A gas and charcoal BBQ area is accessible from the screened porch for all your summer grilling. The back deck is furnished with an umbrella and loungers overlooking the wooded backyard. Upstairs, the enormous primary bedroom includes its own sitting area, a large walk-in closet and an en-suite luxury bathroom. Two king-size guest bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom) each have access to a large balcony where you can take in the sunset over the woods and golf course. The fourth bedroom has two single beds. A small beach perfect for short strolls is only a few blocks away, and the larger popular beach at Menhaden Lane is a short bike ride or drive away. Marie Eiffel market and all the other dining and shopping options on Bridge Street are a short bicycle or car ride away. While a car is recommended, the island is also perfectly suited for bicycles. The house has a large driveway with plenty of parking for guests. Bike rentals are available on the island. Owner keeps a car in the garage, so while there is plenty of room for bicycles and beach gear in the garage, guests will need to park in the driveway.
