Huge claw-foot soaking tub in bathroom, or shower available if you prefer. Guest access Coffee, tea and light morning fare is provided. Access to refrigerator, however, the kitchen is under reconstruction. Also, our wrap around porch is ideal for sipping morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening. Read or chat with your feet up. We have a library where you are free to read or listen to your favorite radio stream. Other things to note Surrounding the city, nearby mountains provide hiking trails galore. Mill Mountain features largest man-made star (ergo the name “Star City”), picnic areas, botanical gardens and sanctuary, a zoo and live theater productions. The Old Southwest was annexed in 1890 and developed as one of the most affluent areas in Roanoke. Transportation includes trolley, bike share, and buses and yes, we have Uber here! Harrison Museum of African American Culture, Science Museum of Western Virginia, Roanoke Pinball Museum and the amazing Virginia Museum of Transportation are just a few of the many attractions Roanoke offers.
