Bokes Barn is a contemporary barn conversion overlooking 80 acres of award winning Chapel Down vineyards, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The large, open-plan living area creates a feeling of space and light, with doors opening out onto the generous patio, with glorious views and comfortable seating. The space The Weald is a very special part of England, with spectacular views, rolling hillsides and villages steeped in centuries of history. Bokes Barn puts you centre stage of this captivating landscape, occupying a perfect position for sweeping views across Wealden Down's hills. You even have exclusive use of three-acres of paddock during your stay, not to mention the croquet lawn and paths through the vineyard. The barn conversion has been fitted out to an extremely high standard, with lots of extra little touches such as a wine fridge – essential if you're going to sample the local, award-winning wine! There's plenty of space for everyone to relax, and three of the bedrooms can be either double beds or twin beds depending on requirements. If a member of your party brings some work away with them, the mezzanine could come in useful as a makeshift study. There's even a piano for those who like to 'tickle the ivories'. Bokes Barn also featured in The Times Travel 'best 25 vineyard stays in Europe.' One place you're bound to all end up at some stage is the large, south-facing terrace, with its commanding views over the fields beyond. With plenty of elegant rattan furniture as well as a fire pit and barbecue, it's the ideal spot to spend a relaxing evening enjoying each other's company. Or head over to the games room where tournaments of table football, darts, billiards and table tennis await. Additional Information: Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Sorry, no puppies under 12 months please. There will be some rabbit holes so children should play carefully in these areas. Bokes Barn is on a working vineyard and so please expect that there will be some activity. A hot tub can be arranged for hire directly through the owners. Wine tours and/or a chef can be arranged directly through the owners. Highchair, cot and stair gate available on request. Sorry, no Hen or Stag parties. Utility room With a washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedroom one With a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. French doors lead to the terrace. Bedroom three With a zip and link bed (can be made up as twin singles or a 6' super-king size bed on request) and en-suite shower room.
