Blackwood Cottage at Organic Origins

Blackwood Cottage is ideal for a solo adventurer or traveling couple. We are situated out of the main Village, but still close enough for exploring if one chooses to - although there is plenty to explore right on our doorstep. Enjoy the sights & sounds of our very own waterfall - or simply stoke the wood burning fire and take some time out. You choose! On your first morning we provide a complimentary breakfast basket of delicious homemade goods for you to enjoy. The space Blackwood Cottage has been renovated into a bright yet cosy space. It stands adjacent to some large Blackwood trees but enjoys wonderful sunshine all year round. Much of the contents have been handmade or up-cycled giving it a completely unique atmosphere. The kitchenette has a two plate gas hob, refrigerator, toaster and all the necessary crockery/cutlery one should need. The bathroom is complete with basin, toilet and a spacious shower. Guest access Feel free to take yourself on one of the meandering pathways down to the river and the waterfall. Or enjoy a stroll through the orchard. Besides the main house, workshop and other private cabins/cottages, guests are free to explore the property and surrounds at their own leisure. As we have a very friendly dog, Chili, please don’t be surprised if she joins you on a stroll! Other things to note The idea of Organic Origins is to allow our guests to escape and unplug.
