Quiet and peaceful by fjords and mountains

The "Nyhuset" at Skogan in Valsøybotn was built in old style in 2007. It is bright and pleasant and very well insulated so that it keeps the heat well in the winter, while it is cool and nice on hot summer days. Now you can spend a night or more in this cozy house with three bedrooms. Up here it's quiet and peaceful. No transit traffic. Rich bird life. Good view from the second floor. Short distance to fjords, mountains and fishing waters. Fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, shower, corner bathtub, etc. Welcome❣️ The space From Skogan you can hike freely in nature. There is no through traffic here. In the winter time there may be snow on the road and 4WD and snow chains may be necessary. You can also park down on the main road and walk up to the house, it is about 1 km. About 600 meters uphill from the house you will find Reinslivatnet. Here there is a hiking trail along one side of the water all the way to the end and further up to the next water. Up here it's quiet and peaceful. If you want a mountain hike, there is a gravel road up until you reach Botnavatnet, about 2 km from the house at Skogan. Furthermore, there is a marked hiking trail to the Tourist Association's Hardbakkhytta. From Reinslivatnet you will find a hiking trail to Tverrlihytta. Down in Valsøybotn, about 800 meters from the house, you can swim in the lake and in the waterfall. A few km further out you can join in activities with horses at Sannes Ski Station and you can pick raspberries on a fantastically well-maintained raspberry plantation. About 10 km from the house you will find the climbing park Høyt & Lavt at Valsøytunet, where they also serve good food in the summer months.
