Away from it all in nature and yet near by the restaurants, the brewery and art galleries in the lively yet relaxed Clarens, with its various outdoor activities. The space The 2 studios are set on a 4ha stand with 100m Klein Caledon river front on the Bethel Estate. Guests can use the picnic site at the river and take a swim when the water level allows. Each studio has its own private entrance, a wall of floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the views. Light and airy open plan layout, 24m squared, neat and clean studio with self catering kitchenette, indoor fire place, queen sized bed, en-suite shower and toilet and covered patio with built in braai. The unit is supplied with borehole water and has undercover parking, Guest access Guests maybe go for walks on the small holding estate or use the picnic site especially created for Arundel guests below the studios along the stream. Picnic baskets are provided. During your stay The owners of the property are sometimes on the property otherwise the managers from whom keys are collected in Clarens are available 24/7 during your stay. Other things to note We have resident family of Slender Mongoose on the property who are no trouble to guests and we ask that they are not disturbed near their den. The Caledon border post with Lesotho is only 30 Kms drive away. Since the roads have improved, you may consider a day trip into beautiful Lesotho for which you need to bring your passports and vehicle insurance.
