Bright, lovely & cozy Covelo Park Apartment

Conveniently located this cosy and charming flat has all amenities for a confortable stay in Porto . Ideal for 3 guests to 4 guests or families, in this apartment can sleep up to 6 guests comfortably. This renovated apartment is located in an iconic part of the town.It is 5 min walking distance to Marques Square subway station from where you can reach the city center ( 5 min), Uni Campus (10 min), airport or beach (40 min). By car the beach is 15 min. Free wifi, towels and bed linen are provided The space Marques Square area is in a traditional and popular part of the town . The FCPorto original stadium is 10 min walk from the apartment, and the new stadium with the museum is not far . Covelo Park is one of the city parks and it is just 2 min walk from the apartment there you can walk , relax, do your personal training or take your children to the playground . The house was originally built by my grandparents Mr. De Sousa and Mrs. Carminda in 40's . At the time they live in the house next door with their young child Manuel (my father) where they run a business on the ground floor called Sousa's Grocery ( Mercearia Sousa ). The property is now owned by my father (who is pictured in the profile photo with my mother Amelia and me). The apartment is located on the first floor with direct entrance from the outside and acessible by stairs only . With great sun exposure and a nice inside design with natural light, this cosy flat has lovely rooms, a fully fuctional kitchen and one bathroom. There is a TV with international channels. Has two bedrooms , one of the rooms with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds that can be transformed in just one double bed if preferred. Is Ideal for 3 guests to 4 guests but can sleep up to 5 guests or 6 guests comfortably. Has a nice hall entrance and two living rooms. The main living room, more to relax is where the TV is and the other living room has a sofa that turns into a two persons sofa bed and can be used like as an independent third room for up two guests. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary, from coffee machine, water kettle, microwave, toaster, oven and stove top, all utensils necessary for a home cooked meal can be found like pots and pans , cutlery and crockery . There is also a balcony with a great sun exposure where you can enjoy your breakfast, meals or just chilling out. ( or smoke :) as is not allowed inside ). This fantastic location allows a quick access to the main touristic spots in Porto , downtown ( walking distance is 30 min but is better to go by Metro) , Clerigos Tower, Douro river, Lello bookshop, Music House with on going concerts, etc. The cost of transport by taxi from the city center to the apartment using Uber is less then 4 euros and using the conventinal taxis is not to much more then 4 euros. Guest access Guest have access to all the amenities of the apartment. There is a paid car park garage close to the apartment, in the same street, open from 7.00 h in morning up to 24.00 h every day. In the street the parking is free during the weekend and also every nights in week days between 19.00 evening and 9.00 in morning. During the day ( 9.00 to 19.00) in weekdays the parking is 1,20 eur each 2 hours. Other things to note If you need any transfer from the airport or special tours we recommend you Mandala Travel .
