This bright, spacious apartment is within walking distance from the Dundee University Campus, V+A Museum and the city's most popular cafes, bars, restaurants. Free on-Street parking is available right outside the door and there is a large convenience store and 24 hour bakery just a short walk away. Fully furnished, this spacious apartment provides an ideal location for a stay in Dundee, Scotland. 30 minutes from St Andrews, 1 hour from Edinburgh, and home of the new V+A Museum. The space * A note to our regular customers - we have not increased our prices, Airbnb's pricing structure has changed and the nightly rate now includes your guest service fee! * Best suited to longer term stays, the accommodation comprises of; a large lounge with plenty of space to relax, double bedroom with plentiful storage, kitchenette and bathroom. The large sofa in the lounge easily folds out into a full size double bed (as seen in the photos) if required for the second guest, while the dining table doubles as an open and bright workspace. The perfect accommodation for both residential and corporate guests. Especially useful for long terms guests, there is a washing machine and drying rack for you to use and (since a lot of people ask) you are welcome to use the vacuum cleaner if you want to. There is also supermarket nearby along with gyms, a swimming pool, a casino and yoga studio all within walking distance. Feel free to get in touch about these before you arrive. Guest access Guests will have this entire apartment to themselves. Other things to note There is a well-maintained, illuminated stairway up to the apartment, accessed via a secure entry system. The buildings in the area were built around 1900 so the walls/windows of the stairway do show their age and the rear garden is not actively used. You can see a photo of the building and entrance to the property within the photos. Being a quiet residential block you are guaranteed a comfortable stay. Given this, noise must be kept to an acceptable level in the apartment and stairwell at all times. Please note, this flat is on the third floor. There is a Double bed and wardrobe in the main bedroom along with a full-length mirror. If you are booking for three or four people, there is a fold-out double bed in the lounge and additional bedding/towels will be provided for your stay. You can see this bed fully made in the photographs. Infants and young children are very welcome and many of our guests are families.
