There is an abundance of parking. Other outdoor space includes natural landscaping and a wrap around deck, fireplace with seating, hammock, large dock (seasonal). Steiman is quietly located on Mooselookmeguntic Lake. An outdoor propane grill and charcoal grill are both available for your use! Further, 2 canoes are available to rent before your stay and will be awaiting you on arrival! Other things to note Oquossoc Grocery and Rangeley IGA are both within a 30 minute trip into town and carry modern essentials. Hospital: The closest medical facility nearby is the Rangeley Maine Medical Center located at 42 Dallas Hill Road, Rangeley Maine, 04970. It’s a 35-40 minute drive from the home** Mount Blue Hospital is located in Farmington Maine, and could take more than 90 minute to arrive to. In Oquossoc their is 911 responders nearby and also fire department. Water: The home is located in the heart of the Maine lakes region and relies on well-drawn water from a natural underground aquifer. Maine water is some of the cleanest in the world. The water may at times have a hue to it of brown- this is from the minerals in the water and is not a concern. Let the water run and the color should dissipate. Cleaning fee: Please note: for reservations longer than 1 week, there will be a cleaning fee assessed per additional week at a rate of $400. Our housekeeper will check in with you every Saturday of your stay with new towels, propane; and water and ensure you are set for the next week.
