My place is in Edinburgh's New Town and is close to Broughton Street with all the great shops, restaurants and bars. You’ll love my place because of the neighbourhood and it's a handy location from which to explore the city on foot. My place, which is on the ground floor, is good for couples, business travellers, and families (with kids). The space My place is extremely spacious - approximately 1,700 square feet. It's in a quiet residential area but within easy walking distance of George Street and less than 5 minutes walk from Broughton Street which has a wide choice of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Original details such as the period flagstones in the entrace hall have been exposed, which set a stylish tone on entering. The double bedroom, with a king sized bed, has two huge windows offering peaceful garden views to the rear. At the front, the bright and airy twin room has charming views over public gardens and a colonnaded neo classical church. Both rooms offer generous storage space. There is also a travel cot and high chair available. Located in central Edinburgh, the apartment has an enormous drawing room with double windows, which retains classical Georgian features and elegant 18th century proportions, a classical marble fireplace, which forms the centrepiece of the room and two comfortable sofas. The kitchen, with leafy garden views to the rear, seats six and is well equipped with an integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher, stainless steel oven and hob, in addition to a washing machine. Leading off the hall is the bathroom with WC, bath and overhead shower. Benefiting from a main door on the ground floor, No 1 Bellevue Terrace is particularly suitable as holiday accommodation for families with young children and the senior generation alike. Guest access The great thing about Edinburgh is that it’s easy to walk to many places in the centre of town. Princes Street is about 15 minutes, Edinburgh Castle about 30 minutes and the Royal Botanical Gardens about 10 minutes on foot. The nearest bus stop is Mansfield Place (a minute’s walk), where no 8 takes you south of the city along North Bridge, Nicholson Street and South Clerk Street. To the north (bus stop immediately opposite the flat on Bellevue Crescent) it goes to the Botanics and Golden Acre. On Broughton Road/Eyre Place the no 36 takes you over to Stockbridge, the West End, up Lothian Road to Brunstfield. Heading in the opposite direction, it heads down to Leith and Ocean Terminal – where you can visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. There is metered parking directly outside.
