The space A gorgeous ground floor apartment ideally situated in the heart of Malton. The accommodation has been beautifully furnished and decorated by an interior designer (new sorry furnishings for 2025) with underfloor heating throughout. Perfect for a relaxing break or business trip. The lounge/diner/kitchen is a generous open plan area, with views to the front. This boasts a large smart TV, underfloor heating, contemporary electric fire, comfy seating, both privacy and decorative window treatments. The kitchen is fully equipped with china, glasses, pots, pans and utensils, there is an integrated fridge freezer and dishwasher, oven, induction hob, toaster and kettle. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar are also provided on arrival. (A Sainsbury's local is situated a short walk away). The Bedroom has a high quality king size bed and mattress, along with luxury bedding, this leads to a large balcony overlooking the town and separate en-suite with large shower. There is a separate utility room with a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board (should you really want to do this on holiday). There is secure storage for 2 bikes, located in the underground store. Please contact me to reserve this (no charge). Malton is perfectly situated for access to the Yorkshire Moors, Coast, York and Castle Howard. Lots of fabulous eateries and independent shops on your doorstep. Why not combine your visit with a visit to the "Cooks Place", learn new cookery skills whilst eating what you make (or enjoy a tasting evening with one of their guest chefs) or even a trip to the Rarebird Gin School and distil your own gin. Private parking is provided on the premises - directly outside your window. Minimum stay is 2 nights. Please note that this is a non-smoking apartment building and there is no smoking permitted anywhere on the premises/balconies or communal areas. Guest access Guests have access to the communal courtyard and underground storage area. The car park space for no. 2 is directly in front of the property. In front of the window furthest away from the entrance door on your left. Bins are kept behind the communal courtyard, through a door at the far left hand side of the courtyard. Other things to note Discounts - there is 10% discount on the nightly booking price for stays of 7 days or more and 20% discount on the nightly price for stays of 30 days or more. The property faces onto Malton Cattle Market which is held on a Tuesday and Friday. There could be a bit of agricultural noise, but in my mind this just adds to the charm of the location. (Guests have loved watching the sheep). Hot water is provided by an electric emersion heater, this is set to come on twice a day which is sufficient to provide plenty of hot water for normal use. In the very unusual event you do use it all, please let me know so I can boost it as it is not instant hot water.
