Cottage on the banks of the Canal Louis XIV

Comfortable accommodation, well insulated and heated, with double bed in 140, bathroom, toilet and well-equipped kitchenette A corner of paradise rated 2 stars. If you don't have a car but have bicycles, you can come by train with your bicycles, to Maintenon. The space The red wooden cottage is inspired by Finnish tradition and offers you all the comforts by the Louis XIV canal. Ducks, herons and birds will be your only neighbors, sometimes cows. The fully equipped kitchen area includes a fridge, microwave, induction hob as well as the necessary dishes and utensils, coffee maker and something to help you out (coffee, tea, oil, vinegar, pepper, sugar...) Linens and towels are provided. Around us you have Chartres, a very interesting city with its lights, its free summer concerts, the Maison Picassiette, many castles in Maintenon which is very beautiful and close, very beautiful forests as well as some towns to visit and a body of water with nautical activities near Saint-Piat, hot air balloons, gliders, golf Guest access The accommodation is entirely at your disposal. You have a space in the garden with deckchairs and table, as well as a barbecue available. You also have a ping pong table available in the summer. In the summer, for the pool (heated if necessary) you can have shared access with us, and sometimes our grandchildren. We always make sure to let you enjoy it quietly when you're there. It is open July August September if the weather is not too cold, it is 8 m by 4 m and 1 m deep, it is an above-ground pool. In winter the cottage is very well insulated with heating. A car is essential to be able to get around the area. Paris is 3/4 hour by train from Epernon to Gare Montparnasse. If you have bicycles you can come to Maintenon by train, the road to get to our house is easy and pleasant, 6 km. Other guests have done it and enjoyed it. Other things to note We lived in Finland for 5 years, and we have hosted many students of all nationalities in the past. We speak English. There are books in French and English at your disposal. We practice different sports and we love nature.
