Everything in the studio is built by hand, giving the feel of a traditional Greek home. Once you walk outside, there is a 50 square meter patio with a large pine tree providing shade. Outside you will find a variety of accommodations: BBQ, a sink, counter space, a spacious table, and speakers to enjoy some music. Local amenities include taverns and a mini-market, which are located within 200 meters of the property. The capital of the island, Pigadia, is 20 minutes by car, where you can find a plethora of restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Karpathos is one of the most beautiful islands in the Dodecanese. The southern part of the island has the most modern traditions, when you head up north to Olympos, you will find the most traditional village. We recommend to rent a car for your stay in Karpathos. Parking can easily be found outside of the apartment. Upon arrival to the airport, the best way to drive into town is by taxi or car. Once you book with us we can send detailed directions and photos to make traveling easier. The airport is 30 km away.
