Genuine stonehouse by the sea, in Småland

Welcome to our house "Stenhuggeriet" which is situated by the sea at Gamlebyviken in the middle of the the wonderful Tjust Archipelago. Our house has a large garden and a private jetty with access to a small boat. Here you will be surrounded by beautiful nature where you can enjoy several different activities such as hiking, climbing and fishing in our popular Pike waters. You can find more information at "stenhuggeriet" on internet(com) The space The house, Stenhuggeriet, was built in 2014 replacing the original house that fell in a snowstorm. In order to keep the history alive it was built as a genuin stone house. You will find granit stones both inside and outside the house which are findings from the time when the place was a Stonemasonry. Guest access You will have access to the whole house with a kitchen, a bathroom and an extra wc as well as six beds placed in two sleeping rooms. The house has also a large hall where private parties, weddings and yoga retreats are hosted from time to time. However, no such events will be hosted while you are visiting. The bedrooms are places on the second floor with a narrow stairway to climb. The kitchen, bathroom and wc is on the ground floor. Other things to note The house is placed privately in the nature just a few meters from the sea with a large garden. The place offers a variety of activities and there are several walking paths close to the house. In Gamleby, 3km from the house, you will find shops, restaurants and other facilities. If you go another 20 km you reach Västervik which is a famous Swedish summer city and within 48 km you find Vimmerby where you can visit for example Astrid Lindgrens Värld.
