This studio is a single room for 2 people, with two single beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a balcony. Built according to Cycladic architecture, they welcome you in a warm environment with authentic island hospitality and family atmosphere. Donousa is the northernmost island of the Small Eastern Cyclades complex. It is located 10 miles north of Amorgos and east of Naxos. It has regular boat service to Naxos, the rest of the Small Cyclades, Koufonisia, Heraklia, Schinoussa, Amorgos and Piraeus. This charming destination on this untouched by time is ideal for those who want to enjoy the natural landscape and the classic Cycladic architecture, combined with peace and relaxation in a wild but beautiful landscape. In Donoussa it is worth visiting the beaches of Stavros with its wonderful sandy beach. Kedros Beach, a heavenly bay with cedars, sand and crystal clear waters, where the wreck of the destroyer ship Orion, which sank there during the Second World War, dominates the seabed. You can explore the shipwreck with a simple mask and snorkel as it is located at a shallow depth near the beach. Livadi Beach for those who really love isolation, Livadi (less popular, but equally beautiful) is the ideal destination. The beach is quite isolated and you will have to get there either by boat or by your own means of transport, which will lead you to the beginning of a path. The trail is long and quite tiring but worth visiting. Kalotaritissa Beaches for those who wish to spend a few hours away from the hustle and bustle, here is the ideal destination, it is at the northernmost tip of the island, while the landscape around is wild and the view unique. In Kalotaritissa Bay, there are three small beaches. It's Mesa Ammos, Sapunochoma and a little further on, Tripiti. It takes an hour and a half to walk from Stavros, but if you dare, you will definitely be rewarded. If you have your own transport you can get there in about half an hour from Stavros. There is the boat "Donousa Witch", which has daily routes during the summer months and transports tourists to remote idyllic sandy beaches when they want to swim in emerald exotic waters and have a wonderful time. There is also regular bus service during the summer months as well as taxis to call. There are no rental cars and motorcycles on the island. What to see on the island: Fokospilia, a fantastic cave with turquoise waters, accessible from the village of Stavros with the help of the local boat "Maounas", which goes around the island daily. This cave used to be a seal sanctuary. The cave of Toichos, accessible from the village of Stavros, you will admire the remains of the settlements of the Geometric period and of course, entering the cave by boat, you will see the small stalactites that adorn it and the deep blue waters.
