Enjoy a relaxing stay in an 1850 farmhouse in beautiful Peterborough. The room is comfortably furnished with a queen bed and seating area with private bath. Coffee and tea service, as well as an in-room refrigerator/freezer give you many of the comforts of home. The private entrance leads to a small patio with seating area in a shade garden. Conveniently located just two miles from the heart of town where you'll find galleries, antique shops, yoga studios, live music, pubs, and more! The space This property was originally a sheep farm, which is typical of southern NH. The house has an attached barn, adjoined by two smaller buildings that were originally used to store farm equipment. Attached barns are unique to a specific region of southern Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and northern Massachusetts. All of the buildings except for the barn have been updated for the comforts of modern living. We are actively working to restore the house and landscape, which in recent years had been neglected. We're happy to give you a tour of our projects and welcome your questions! All structures on the property are old frame timber. To protect against the risk of fire, we kindly ask that guests refrain from smoking anywhere on the premises. Use of open flames is prohibited. Vaping products are also not allowed. Guest access During your stay, you will have full access to a private room and en suite private bath. There is an exterior door to the room with a small shade patio and garden just outside. No need to travel through the main house to get to your room. We hope you enjoy the privacy of having your own space during your stay!
