NOTE: You will have the bathroom, kitchenette, front porch and living room to yourselves, however, 2nd and 3rd rooms can accommodate -EXTENDED FAMILY and FRIENDS booked separately. I will open sites: "Wrens Nest #1 - in a County Mile" and or Wrens Nest #3 - a Birds View to allow registration for that purpose. Office door is also on 2nd floor, so we may pass each other in the kitchenette between rooms. The cat, Gigi, will take advantage of any open door to visit or just being nosy. Easy Country stay for business or pleasure. Maybe your family is coming into the area for a wedding or shower and want to stay over. Or a business trip is needing an out-of-the-way retreat from work, then come nestle in at the Wrens Nest. A garage is available for bikes/skies etc. When it rains, the porch with its metal roof is the best place to sit and just be. The rooms have AC in July and August, or when weather dictates. Each room has a window fan and a ceiling or floor fan. This home was built in the 1890s. I've done my best to maintain its strong integrity, basic comforts, and the added electricity has not changed that. Are there ghosts?? Well, no, but the house does have a Welcoming Spirit. SPECIAL NOTE: if you want to stay here BUT you are traveling with an RV I can accommodate parking most RVs with small additional charge. Must write me first. Guest access Your room is yours to relax in. Downstairs living room has comfy chairs, TV, streaming, Netflix, CD movies. The central hall/foyer between bedrooms has a kitchenette with Coffee maker and, though food is not provided, please use the Microwave to heat your food and store in the Sm. Refrigerator for your convenience. Sitting on the porch to hear the birds and watch the humming birds at the feeders is a sport here. An electric grill on the porch is for your convenience. The yard is large, and I welcome you to wonder about and feel free to pull a weed or two around the flowers. I walk this country road regularly and I always safely wear bright colors. My home is not set up for handicapped or for young children under 8yrs. due to many variables such as open staircases, open porches, low to floor windows and electric fences for sheep. Smoking reminder: NO smoking in rooms/house, including Electric Cig/etc. You may smoke on the porch, but please be aware of open windows or open screen door. Otherwise, use the designated area in the yard, and please use the can with sand for cig. Butts, super Thanks! During your stay I enjoy my home and you'll see me around keeping busy. I'll be glad to help you with anything I can. I may run errands or take a bike ride -- my cell phone number is on the information sheet in your room to call or text me anytime. Other things to note Wifi is good. Cell phone coverage is good. Sometimes certain weather conditions have interfered. The rooms NOW have AC during July and August or as weather dictates. Each room has a window fan and a ceiling fan. Also, I have a giant attic fan situated in the ceiling of the kitchenette - which is the center of all adjoining rooms. This attic fan also "draws" air from any open window or door. Note again that I DO have a cat now, Gigi, which may sneak in your room if door is open. She is friendy and nosy Thank you kindly.
