Our log chalet is close to skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, biking, fishing, swimming, hiking, other family-friendly activities, restaurants and dining. You’ll love it here because of the spacious layout, spectacular mountain views, the location - only a short 35 min drive to the Old City , the quiet, the wood stove and the ambiance. this is an ideal place for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), friends. **note** we can accommodate 10 total, but no more than 8 adults. The space Our chalet was built in 1992 out of large pine logs harvested on our property. The main floor is open, spacious and features a large deck overlooking the fields and mountains. The bay window and deck are south facing which is ideal in the winter for natural lighting. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, dishes and silverware. The shared bath features a shower. (No tub) Guest access The log home is all yours during your stay. You are welcome to explore and enjoy the property and river. Other things to note We have a very efficient wood burning stove for you to enjoy and the firewood is included at no extra cost. In the summer months we have 5-6 acres of wild blueberries that are fun to pick and make a delicious topping to crepes. We have 2000 feet on the rivière de l'Isle. Many areas for safe and fun enjoyment. In the fall the colors are peak from late sept - mid Oct. winters are magical with plenty of snow. Our large property is perfect for snowshoeing.
