'The Snug' nr York at old Station Master's House.

Just 8 miles from the beautiful city of York, Riccall contains everything you might want for your break: restaurant, pubs, takeaway, Post Office and shop but is also a perfect base for very easy access to York; buses leave from the end of the road every 15 minutes, driving is very quick and easy + Riccall is even on a gorgeous cycle/walking track to York. The space A combination of sleek modern with quirky vintage, 'The Snug' apartment offers the perfect getaway. Your own private studio with its own entrance and patio, 'The Snug' has its own perfectly formed and well equipped kitchen with oven/hob, washing machine, welcome basket with breakfast items, including bread, butter, cereal, delicious homemade jams/baked items, range of teas/fresh coffee/hot chocolate, along with milk/orange juice/filter water. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided in the modern bathroom, complete with powerful 'rain' shower. Freshly laundered towels, cosy bedding, blankets and robes will be ready for your arrival. Free Wifi is available throughout your stay. Choose from a variety of DVDs or Freeview is available through Amazon Fire. The kingsize sofa bed with mattress topper has been declared super-comfy by visitors to 'The Snug'. We use eco/organic products wherever possible. 'The Snug' is a chic extension to the old Station Master's House (dating back to the 1860s) where we live; the old East Coast Mainline that was behind the house is now the road to York. The cycle track (to York or Selby) is also here in Riccall and wonderful for a lovely walk/cycle ride too. Biking into the centre of York on this stunning route (which is stunning and completely off road all the way to York) takes less than an hour. Free parking at 'The Snug' too and excellent access to surrounding areas, (including York which is 15 minutes by car or there is a fantastic and frequent bus service that takes you to the centre). Guest access You will have your own private entrance to 'The Snug' and cute outside area with seating and space to enjoy the sunshine (see picture attached) and the drive is yours for parking throughout your stay.
