King or twin beds available. Free WiFi & Parking,"Castle Court" is set on the site of Sheriff Hutton Castle in the rural village of Sheriff Hutton. You will have your own entrance and key to the holiday let. With self check-in, we will give you total privacy but are next door should you need us. Located just 25 minutes north of York by car, 5 miles from Castle Howard, less than 1 hour from the coast; Whitby, Scarborogh. We also have 3 other lets for 3 more couples, if you're coming with friends. The space The bed will be made as a king but you can request 2 single beds. You will have use of a separate living /dining area and your own private entrance. Although there is no separate kitchen, there is an area with a sink, where you can make tea, coffee, toast, wash up and use the microwave and fridge. There is also a pretty communal courtyard you are free to use and free parking a few steps from the front door. Safe bike storage can be made available. Guest access Should you like to look around the castle, depending on our other guests, this should be possible, please ask as we also have a holiday let inside the castle courtyard. Other things to note There are many long walks in the surrounding area including a short 15 min circular walk around the castle and moats The pub within 5 minutes walk provides good "pub grub". Castle Howard is a 10 minutes drive away and we are on the edge of the Howardian Hills and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, perfect for cycling to take in the fantastic views.
