Rocket Room is our full studio with a laid-back 70s vibe. This unit sleeps 2 in a full-size bed. The kitchenette includes bar seating, toaster oven, electric kettle, coffee station, sink and mini-fridge. The walk-in shower, bathroom has recently been redone! Rocket Room is all about escaping the hustle and bustle and this suite backs to a preserved forest. The Rocket Room is located in a sought after neighborhood in Woodstock. The Orchard Lane/Library Lane neighborhood houses the original in-town Woodstock homes. Quiet, woodsy, secluded, yet tucked just off the main drag to the Village Green. It's a throw back to a by-gone era, no McMansions here. The Rocket Room is located on our home property. It occupies one end of a hand-built carriage house that also contains my art/fashion studios and a one-bedroom apartment at the other end. There is both a lovely writing desk and a small sitting area in the Rocket Room. Many past creative guests have raved about the amount of work they completed in this suite. In-room entertainment includes high-speed WiFi and a flat-screen TV with Roku streaming. Guests can peruse the many free streaming channels, access our free Netflix account or log into their own premium channels from their home cable service. The suite offers a Crosley vintage-look radio/MP3 player and a portable Crosley record player with a selection of vintage vinyl. All our suites include free coffee/tea, bath products, hair dryer, umbrella and iron/board. Rocket Room has a dedicated parking spot and yard access. **Pets are welcome in this unit with notification. No additional pet or cleaning fee. Just want to set out the pet bowls and blankets!!!!! Please note we have both a cat and dog on this property. Check in is at 3pm / Check out is 11 noon. With our No Hassle Arrival policy guests can arrive as late as they'd like with no fear of losing their reservation. DEALS: Early Bag Drop-Off Sometimes guests are just ready to start their vacation before our 3 pm check-in. We want our guests to have maximum fun and relaxation time but we do need the noon - 3 pm hours to get your suite ready for you. Our guests can now feel free to arrive anytime after 1 pm to drop off their bags and park their car, with the understanding that suites WILL NOT be ready. We ask that guests do not linger in the suite during early bag drop-off hours. Additionally, we can hold bags for guests after checkout. Additional Services: SPA: Located directly across the street from our home is the home of Joan Apter, long-time Woodstock resident who is a master in massage, reiki, and essential oil therapy. Guests at The Rocket Room have a private studio apartment in a larger building. The unit has a small patio area outside the front door and a private seating area overlooking our private woods directly behind the unit. We offer on-site parking and can accommodate more than one car but please ask where to park a second vehicle. We give our guests as much attention as they want. We are more then happy to chat, give advice, share a drink or even check out local spots with them (time permitting). That said we are also more then happy to give them quiet and privacy. It's up to the guest. The Orchard Lane neighborhood includes Station Bar, Nancy's Artisanal Creamery, Upstate Films, Woodstock Library and Woodstock Wood-fired Pizza . It is a .5 miles from the Village Green and an easy stroll to everything Woodstock has to offer.
