There are also several fishing lakes with good trout stocks in the area. In winter there are groomed cross-country ski trails nearby. Ski center Gullingen with ski lifts and ski slopes is just a short drive away. For stores and restaurants Sand is only a short drive from the cottage. Here you can also visit the Ryfylk Museum.
