Completely renovated lower level duplex apartment in a very safe and walk-able neighborhood. Steps away from public transport, parks, popular restaurants and a variety of night life / activities. The space This wonderful home was built in 1914. The apartment was completely renovated specifically with Airbnb guests in mind. This is the perfect alternative to the standard hotel room not cluttered others personal belongings or secondhand furniture. Special rates while finishing touches are made. These include minor things such as paint touch up and decor. Hanging a piece or two of trim and touching up some paint. All photos are of current state and will be updated as finishing touches are made. Enjoy the spacious kitchen complete with stainless oven, fridge and dishwasher. All plates, cutlery, pots / pans provided should you want to cook a meal on your own. There are countless eateries within walking distance as well. Oh, and don't forget the FREE COFFEE! The remodeled bathroom offers plenty of space to get ready for the day with a brand new walk in shower. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and 40" TV for those who enjoy falling to sleep while watching some shows. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed. A (very large) big screen TV is ready to watch movies on in the Living room through Amazon FireTV. If you want to rent a movie through my account, let me know. The dining room has a small table to prepare meals for your family or guests as well as a desk should you want a formal place to set-up your laptop. A wide front porch is a great spot to watch the world go by while drinking that free coffee. Outside you will find a small relatively secluded backyard. There is some shade should you want to grab a camping chair out of the garage and relax. A propane grill is also available for use. The wide 3 car garage allows plenty of space for off street parking without moving cars around or worrying about blocking people in. Guest access Guests have access to the entire first floor apartment. There is a digital combination lock which allows access to the house 24/7. Upon check-in, you will receive a key to the apartment's interior door. The basement is accessible for Laundry, detergent provided. Other things to note We want you to be aware of every possible nuisance prior to booking to avoid any reviews less than 5 stars. While these things may be extremely minor, if they would be reasons for leaving sub 5 star reviews please book elsewhere. Noise - The apartment is the lower level of a duplex. You will here minor footfalls from above. These are no greater than you would hear at a hotel. Being a house in a densely populated area, you will hear the comings and goings of the neighbors as well. There is a train located .25 miles away. If the windows are open, you will hear the train making its way through Lakewood. The point is, this isn't a cabin in the middle of the woods, however, it also is not in the middle of Manhattan. The noise is what you would expect for a neighborhood. Pets - There have never been animals within the apartment. There is a cat living in the house's other apartment. Air Conditioning - The AC is provided via window units. Refrigerator - There may be a few items of packaged, unopened food in the fridge / freezer. Please do not eat. There will be plenty of space available for your groceries. Ants - The entire house has been professionally treated. The house is over 100 years old and the odd carpenter ant may cross your path in the warmer months.
