Clevelands Country House is a charming self-catering retreat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This peaceful escape features 4/5 comfortable bedrooms—including a two-bedroom suite—and accommodates up to 10 guests. Enjoy your own terrace with BBQ in beautiful surroundings. Nearby, discover Ventnor restaurants, stunning beaches, and plenty of outdoor activities. Ideal for families or groups, it's dog-friendly and well placed for exploring the island. The space House sleeps a maximum of 10 guests, this includes adults, children and infants. FIVE BEDROOMS Three super king bedrooms, one king plus access to a twin bedroom as a family suite. 2 bedroom SUITE Bedroom 4 & 5 make a suite with a shared shower & toilet, king bedroom 4 is access to twin bedroom 5. Ideal for younger members of the family. Only booked guests are permitted on the property due to property insurance liability and fire regulations. We have two separate one bedroom apartments on site if you need more accommodation for more guests, please send enquiry message for links. Three car parking slots are available for house guests. Comfy, cosy and child friendly. Plenty to do with beaches, biking, bucket & spade, exploring, eating, fishing, boating, riding and walking are all close by. Guest access We have other guests on site that also share the drive so please do park considerately. The lawn area is also shared. A pre-booked and pre-paid laundry service is available to guests on longer stays. Please contact owner who will advise on availability and pricing. The terrace is for the sole use of the house guests with access to a charcoal BBQ. No visitors or additional people permitted on site that are not included in the booking contract, due to public liability, property insurance and fire regulations. Check in is after 4pm on day of arrival. Check out is 10am or before on day of departure. A late check out may incur a charge for late departure that adversely impacts either new guests arriving on time and/or delays our changeover team. Our changeover team have our full permission to enter the property after 10am. Other things to note We love to welcome our guests and want you to have a fabulous stay with us. Please do respect our property. NO SMOKING OR VAPING INDOORS. This is a legal requirement as per UK law. Please use ashtrays provided outside. NO FIREWORKS PERMITTED ONSITE DOGS We welcome two well behaved VIP's (Very important Pooches/Pups). We supply covers, towels and beds please use the covers on furniture/beds. Please check first if more than 2 dogs. Please do not leave dogs unattended in a strange environment, this is unfair on your dogs and unfair on our other guests if they start barking. Sadly and reluctantly, we have now introduced a pet fee per dog, due to damage /disturbance caused by a previous guests dogs. ELECTRIC BIKES Please do not store inside property, as they are a fire risk. CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES Check in is from 16.00hrs and check out is 10.00hrs sharp. During busy periods there is little flex on these times, as our changeover team are scheduled in advance and look after other properties not just Clevelands. If property is ready sooner than check in time, we will happily text on day of arrival. BEFORE DEPARTURE Self catering accommodation requires you to clean up after yourselves. Please ensure anything you have used is cleaned and put it away as you found it. We ask guests to strip their beds of used bed linen and place used bedlinen in the bath upstairs. Please remove leftover food/drinks from the fridge/freezer, either take it away or place in black bin bag. Our chickens are grateful for left over compost of fresh vegetable/fruit but not if it is contaminated by ultra processed food. Bins emptied (kitchen, bathroom and bedroom bins) and placed in black or clear bags in respective wheelie bins. Furniture if moved put back in original position. Basically leave the house in a similar condition to how you found it. We do not charge a cleaning fee, as we try and keep our prices reasonable and good value for money.
