Stable Cottage is a two-storey Cotswold-stone cottage in the quiet hamlet of Williamscot, four miles from Banbury and a mile from Cropredy. Log burner, king bed, newly refurbished bathroom with a bath, and your own front door on a gated drive. Dogs are welcome: step out into our fields, orchard and woodland and say hello to the donkeys and sheep. Fast wifi (85 Mbps) and a proper desk for working. A great base for Silverstone, Bicester Village, Oxford, Warwick and the Cotswolds. The space The cottage is spacious, quiet and private, set in the grounds of our home with its own parking space and front door. Downstairs there is a fitted kitchen with oven, microwave and air fryer, and a living room with a sofa bed and a wood-burning stove. A basket of logs, kindling and matches is waiting for you (further baskets £7). Upstairs there is a generous bedroom with a king-size bed, a newly refurbished bathroom with bath and shower, and a dedicated workspace on the landing for home working. Heating is by efficient electric heaters with simple timer controls, so the cottage is warm when you get back. Please set them to timed rather than constant when you go out. Guest access Your own front door and parking space, reached through the gated drive (you'll have a fob for the gate). Acres of fields, orchard and woodland to walk in, shared with our sheep, goats and donkeys. Other things to note Cannons Yard is a working smallholding, so expect animals about and the odd early-morning bleat. The drive is shared with our house but the cottage is completely private. Dogs are very welcome. Please keep them on a lead near the animals, and note that the lane leads to a fast main road. The living room has a wood-burning stove and a basket of logs, kindling and matches is provided; further baskets are £7.
